A plummer  block  is a pedestal used to provide support for a rotating shaft with the help of compatible bearings and various accessories. The assembly consists of a mounting block which houses a bearing. Plummer block bearing comes as a self contained assembly, available in wide range of sizes. All we have to do is ensure availability of a flat and firm platform where two holes can be drilled (which would be used to bolt the plummer block down).
